Obi-Wan Kenobi inspires many by his willingness to not let go of his morals and turn to the dark side. Through all the struggles of having his master die, his girlfriend die, apprentice turn against him, look after a winy kid for years, live on a desert planet for years, Obi-Wan stood strong and dedicated his life to the Republic, to democracy.
